Towamensing store is victim of shoplifting

State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a shoplifting incident that was reported to them at 12:51 p.m. Sunday at the Country Junction general store, 6565 Interchange Road, Towamensing Township.

Police said their investigation revealed two suspects walked out of the store with numerous unpaid items.

The license plate number of the vehicle used by the thieves was obtained, and police are investigating.
