Driver from Palmerton cited in crash
State police at the Fogelsville barracks cited a Palmerton resident for failure to drive at a safe speed and driving too fast for conditions following a two-vehicle crash at 5:22 p.m. Dec. 20 on Interstate 78 in Upper Saucon Township.
Police said Kayja A. German, 18, was driving a 2004 Ford Explorer that rear-ended a 2017 Toyota RAV 4 driven by Caitlin O’Toole Kessler, 26, of Bethlehem.
Police said O’Toole Kessler sustained suspected minor injuries, as did a 12-year-old girl from Aquashicola, who was a passenger with German.
German was also cited for failure to produce the vehicle’s registration or certificate of title.
