  • Empty

Tamaqua Zion Lutheran culinary member Deb Davies serves New Year’s Day dinner attendee Wilbur Fegley. Also on the serving line are culinary team members Sharon Haldeman and Libby Mussoline. Zion Lutheran’s third annual free New Year’s Day pork and sauerkraut dinner served nearly 200 area residents. The dinner is an outreach project of Zion’s culinary team. Attendees came from as far away as Shoemakersville and Wind Gap because, as they said, they wanted to taste the homemade sauerkraut. GEORGE TAYLOR/TIMES NEWS
