State police investigating incidents
State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a theft that occurred between 4 p.m. Aug. 5 and 3:50 p.m. Sept. 2 in Weissport.
Police said the victim is a 56-year-old woman who lives in the 400 block of Bridge Street.
The suspect is reported to be a 36-year-old woman from Weissport.
No other details about the incident were provided by police.
State police are also investigating a burglary that happened between 1 p.m. Sept. 1 and 7 p.m. Oct. 5 at a home in Lower Towamensing Township.
The victim is a 41-year-old resident of the 600 block of Forest Drive.
Police did not release any other information on either incident.
