Nesquehoning woman picked up on warrant found with drugs

A Nesquehoning woman faces drug charges after police found her with marijuana when they went to arrest her at her job.

On Jan. 3, Nesquehoning police were notified by Summit Hill police that they had an arrest warrant for Ginger Leigh Eldridge, 39, of West Columbus Avenue, and that she worked as a security officer at a company in Nesquehoning.

Officers found her security vehicle, which was parked on the property and startled Eldridge, who was asleep in the vehicle.

She was taken into custody and admitted that she had marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the pocket of her coat, which was inside the vehicle.

Eldridge was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

A preliminary hearing has been set for Feb. 6 before District Judge Casimir T. Kosciolek.
