New York man cited in domestic incident

A New York City man was arrested and charged for assault following a domestic incident in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police were dispatched to the Hotel M, Mount Pocono, at 2:55 a.m. Sunday for a domestic dispute. On scene the officers were told by a woman that her boyfriend, Anthony Tahji, 21, had assaulted her. Officers said they observed injuries on the woman consistent with her account of the incident. Tahji was placed under arrest and charged with simple assault and harassment.
