WALNUTPORT BOROUGH COUNCIL

Walnutport Borough Council took the following action on Thursday:

• Set the tax collector commission rate at 3 percent, effective in 2020.

• Reappointed Donna Funk to the Slatington Public Library board of directors.

• Announced that the library has an opening on its board of directors, and that the member must be a Walnutport Borough resident. The library is accepting nominations for the position, and interested candidates should contact the library at 610-767-6461.
