Published February 12. 2019 09:09AM

A Schuylkill County man was jailed on Jan. 23 on several warrants.

State police at Frackville said troopers responded to the 200 block of Valley Street in New Philadelphia at 3:40 p.m. to assist New Philadelphia police with a wanted person inside that residence. Before the arrival of troopers, the man had jumped from the home’s roof in an attempt to escape. He sustained serious injuries in the fall.

While on scene, troopers came into contact with Timothy Reed, 32, of Saint Clair. It was found that Reed had three active warrants. He was taken into custody.

He had two hypodermic needles that he used to inject heroin.

Reed was transported to the Schuylkill County prison on the outstanding warrants.

Troopers said a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia will be filed against Reed.
