A look back: Feb. 22, 1969
The Palmerton Hospital has announced the appointment of Dr. Joel Samuelson to the consulting medical staff of the hospital.
Dr. Samuelson is a specialist in allergies, dermatology and immunology.
He graduated from Dartmouth in 1957 and received his doctor’s degree in 1961 from the New York University Medical School and did graduate work at the Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, and the Pennsylvania and Scripps Clinic in California. He is a fellow in the American Academy in Allergy.
A native of Brooklyn, New York, he served two years in the Armed Services.
He, his wife, L. Leonilda, and their three children, reside in East Stroudsburg.
