Gun-pointing leads to arrest

A Schuylkill County man has been arrested in a gun-pointing incident.

State police at Frackville said George Henry Brand, 36, of Minersville, has been charged with recklessly endangering another person for an incident that occurred about 5:10 p.m. on Friday in the 200 block of Brookshire Lane, in East Brunswick Township.

Troopers said they received a report from an Orwigsburg residentthat an unknown man pointed a pistol at him. The incident occurred as the victim was telling the man to leave his property. Brand fled the scene before the arrival of troopers in a white pickup truck.

Troopers later determined the suspect was Brand and filed the charges. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
