Guns, other items taken in burglary

Guns and other items were reported taken in a Schuylkill County burglary.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said someone broke into a residence on Timberline Drive in Norwegian Township by using a blunt object to break into the rear door.Items taken include a 38-caliber Ruger revolver and a Colt 38, Navy issued - 1890s model gun, cash and jewelry.

The incident occurred sometime between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sept. 15. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
