Monroe woman victim of identity theft

A 65-year-old Monroe County woman is the victim of identity theft.

State police at Lehighton said the Ross Township woman reported someone obtained her personal information, including her Social Security number and work history, to open credit accounts. The unknown person is possibly working out of California, troopers said.
