A look back: Feb. 27, 1962

Eugene O’Donnell of Lansford was elected president of the Carbon-Schuylkill Industrial Development Corporation at last night’s meeting held in the Edgemont Lodge, Lansford.

He succeeds William McDonald of Lansford, who served as president for the past two years.

Other officers elected were August Gulla, Coaldale, first vice president; William Llewellyn, Summit Hill, second vice president; Joseph Sniscak, Nesquehoning, third vice president; Agnes McCartney, Lansford, recording secretary; Virginia Sweeney, Lansford, corresponding secretary; and Vincent Koomar, Nesquehoning, treasurer.
