Woman cited after hitting man in the face

Coaldale Police cited Jessica Tonkin, 34, of West Ridge Street, Coaldale, after receiving a complaint from a man who said she struck him in the face with a plate.

The incident took place on Sept. 23 during an argument. The victim's tooth was cracked as a result of the fight.

Tonkin was charged with simple assault and harassment.
