WEST PENN TOWNSHIP

Published March 11. 2019 12:59PM

West Penn Township supervisors took the following action last week:

• Accepted the resignation of part-time police officers Anthony Houser and Zac Evans.

• Granted a waiver for Armin Gholami to submit preliminary and final plan concurrently based on the minimal project scale and scope for his land development, and also adopted a resolution to conditionally approve Gholami’s and Haydeh Hemmat’s land development plan contingent upon the comments on the Lehigh Engineering LLC letter dated Feb. 25. The plan calls for a potential used car sales lot on the east side of Medical Crossing Road.

• Adopted a resolution stating that West Penn Township desires to receive a grant from the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for the purpose of carrying out the J.E. Morgan Memorial Park Project.

• Agreed to close out Bruce Rader’s $6,000 letter of credit for Lime Kiln Drive.
