Truhe to play football at Lycoming

Lehighton’s Shawn Truhe will be continuing his academic and football career at Division 3 Lycoming College in the fall.

Truhe was a four-year member of the Indians’ varsity team, playing linebacker for head coach Tom McCarroll.

The senior was selected to the Schuylkill League all-star team and also was named a Blue-Grey All-American.

Truhe also participated in basketball and track at Lehighton and is a member of the school’s SADD club and Red Cross club.

The son of Leonora and James Truhe, Shawn plans to major in personal finance.
