Slatington man dies in crash
A 54-year-old Slatington man was killed Tuesday when his motorcycle crashed near the entrance to Victory Park in Washington Township.
Police said Brian Coursey, 54, who was not wearing a helmet, lost control of his 2009 Can-am Spyder Rotax 990 while traveling west on Grove Street just after 1:30 p.m.
The bike struck the pillar at the entrance to Victory Park, causing fatal injuries.
The Lehigh County Coroner and Friedens Fire Company assisted at the scene. State police are investigating.
