Mahoning supervisors

During their meeting on Wednesday, Mahoning Township supervisors took the following actions:

• Accepted the resignation of township auditor Brandon Ruch and unanimously appointed Larry Hill to the position.

• Tabled the Sierra Vista residential development preliminary plans and granted a time extension until April 30, 2019.

• Agreed to advertise to receive bids for fuel and road materials.

• Awarded $2,892.47 to Asplundh for weed control spraying along township roads as directed by the township road crew.

• Announced that the heating system in the municipal building is no longer operational. Emergency repair bids are being sought.
