Easter egg hunts
• Ben Salem UCC hosts an egg hunt at 11 a.m. April 6 at the Old Social Hall at 1749 Church Hill Road, Lehighton.
• The Weatherly Easter egg hunt will be held at 1:30 p.m. April 7 at the Eurana Park ballfield for children 1-12.
• The East Penn Township Easter egg hunt will take place at 2 p.m. April 13 at Ashfield Playground. Egg coloring will take place at 6 p.m. April 10.
• The Jim Thorpe TouchDown Club will host an Easter Bunny Breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon on April 13 at the L.B. Morris Elementary Building with an egg hunt at 10:30 a.m. with prizes. The Easter bunny will be there to take pictures with. There is a cost. You may pay at the door, or preorder tickets with Patty Stauffer at staufferpatty@yahoo.com.
• The Summit Hill Legion will host an Easter egg hunt in Ashton Park on April 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• The Rush Township Easter egg hunt will be at noon April 13, at Miller Park. Volunteers are needed.
• Bethany EC Church hosts an egg hunt for children ages 3 to 12 at 2 p.m. April 13 at the Lehighton Community Grove, Seventh and Iron streets.
• Zion United Lutheran Church will host an afternoon of games, face painting and photos with the Easter bunny on April 14 starting at 2 p.m. with the egg hunt starting at 3 p.m. All ages up to and including fifth grade are invited to join in the fun. • Lehighton Rec Center, 243 S. Eighth St., in Lehighton, April 20. Egg hunt times are: Ages 0-2, noon; ages 3-5, 12:30 p.m.; ages 6-8, 1 p.m.; and ages 9-12, 1:30 p.m.
• St. Matthew’s UCC, Kunkletown hosts an egg hunt from 1-2:30 p.m. April 20 at the church grove in Kunkletown. Egg hunts by age group, games, crafts, snacks and visit with the Easter bunny.
