April 5, 1976 — Todd Fisher captures three events to lead Pleasant Valley to a 102-30 Centennial League track win over Notre Dame. Fisher sets a school record in the 440, breaking the tape in 52.3. He also finishes first in the 220 and long jump. The Bears also receive a record-breaking effort in the triple jump from Smith, who registers a mark of 40-3. Other PV firsts come from Dale Heller (100), Gary Warner (880), Randy Petkus (shot put), Guy Morfesi (discus), Todd Serfass (javelin) and Kevin Conklin (pole vault).
