Hoffman at Fairfield University

Northern Lehigh graduate and three-time Times News Softball Player of the Year has seen plenty of playing time as a freshman at Division 1 Fairfield University.

The former Bulldog has played in 32 games, including 24 starts, for the Stags. The outfielder is hitting .247 (20-for-81) with 11 runs scored and 14 RBIs. Nine of Hoffman’s hits have gone for extra bases. She has six doubles, one triple and two home runs. She has also walked 11 times and stolen four bases.

Fairfield currently owns an 18-17 record, including a mark of 4-6 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).
