Nesquehoning club reports vandalism

Nesquehoning Conservation Club has reported that someone damaged their property twice over a three-day period.

Sam Kitchko of the club said that someone tore through the grassy area and new top soil near the pond on Industrial Road in the Hauto Valley Estates portion. The conservation club maintains the property for recreation purposes, putting up a pavilion, clearing an area for people to walk and stocking the pond for fishing.

The club has notified police of the vandalism.
