Fugitive apprehended in Monroe County

A fugitive wanted by police in New Jersey was apprehended in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said they received an anonymous complaint on Oct. 5 that Michael Chiccini was staying at a residence in Pocono Forest, Coolbaugh Township and was wanted in New Jersey. Police also received information that Chiccini was leaving the residence and located the vehicle he was a passenger in and took him into custody.

He was placed in the county prison in Snydersville pending extradition to New Jersey.
