Palmerton to begin street sweeping schedule on May 1

Due to a broken sweeper, Palmerton will beginning its street cleaning program on May 1, a month later than usual.

Signs indicating parking restrictions will be posted on streets. The borough asks residents remember the date their street is to be cleaned. Cars should be moved between 7 and 8 p.m. the evening before your street is slated to be swept.

The borough’s street sweeping schedule is as follows, listed in order of street, location and side (unless otherwise noted):
