Theft case investigated

State police at Lehighton are investigating a theft by deception case.

Police said the victim, who lives on Forest Inn Road in Lower Towamensing Township, reported she bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 for $160 from the "Let Go" application.

She said the phone worked on the first day but was then blocked from network use.
