Carbon driver facing DUI count

A Carbon County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence in Monroe County.

State police at Stroudsburg said a 28-year-old man from Beaver Meadows, who troopers declined to identify, was stopped about 9:40 p.m. on March 29 along Interstate 80 eastbound in Pocono Township. The suspect submitted to field sobriety tests which indicated impairment. He was then placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
