WEST PENN TOWNSHIP

West Penn Township supervisors, on a 2-0 vote, with board Chairman Tony Prudenti absent, took the following action on Monday:

• Agreed to spend an amount up to $1,500 to raise the floor at Zion Stone Church to address water issues.

• Granted conditional approval to Central Springs’ preliminary/final land development plan, contingent upon comments being satisfied from Lehigh Engineering LLC.

• Adopted a resolution conditionally approving the Tite Properties LLC Central Spring Service Land Development.

• Approved a bridge intermunicipal cooperation agreement with Schuylkill County. The four bridges are county bridges that they want the township to help maintain.

• Adopted a resolution for the 2019 Schuylkill County Hazard Mitigation Update.

• Announced that the next meeting of the board will be held at 9 a.m. May 20 at the West Penn Fire Company.
