Meet the candidates event planned
The Save Our Sanctuaries Committee will present a bipartisan Meet the Candidates for Carbon County Commissioner Night Mauch Chunk Ballroom, 41 W. Broadway, at 7 p.m. on May 15.
The public is invited to meet Carbon County commissioner candidates in advance of the May 21 primary election and find out how they stand on issues that matter most to them.
The Save Our Sanctuaries Committee consists of Carbon County residents committed to safeguarding the integrity of the architecture of historic Jim Thorpe and protecting St. Mark’s Episcopal Church from damage due to a county construction project.
