Schuylkill woman facing charges

Published November 02. 2016 02:45PM

A Schuylkill County woman is facing tampering with public records charges.

State police at Frackville said Katelin Flamini, of Pottsville, altered a nursing license and a cosmetologist license issued to other people to make them appear that they were issued to her.

Flamini then used the altered licenses to pretend to get a job at Urban Hair Stylists, located in the Schuylkill Mall in New Castle Township.

The incident occurred on Sept. 12.

Two counts each of tampering with public records or information and impersonating a holder of a professional or occupational license have been filed against Flamini with the office of District Judge David Plachko of Port Carbon, troopers said.
