DUI reports
• State police at Lehighton arrested a 41-year-old Stroudsburg woman for driving under the influence of alcohol after a two-vehicle crash at 6:04 p.m. Oct. 16 at the intersection of Meixsell Valley and Blue Ridge roads in Ross Township.
Police said there were no injuries in the crash. No other crash details were reported.
• Lansford police have charged the following people with driving under the influence:
Timothy Keer, 52, ofCoaldale, was charged with DUI, failure to keep right, and careless driving on Aug. 26; Salvatore Canzoneri, 28, ofLansford, was charged with DUI, resisting arrest, tampering with evidence, terroristic threats, possession of drug paraphernalia, and disorderly conduct on Sept. 6; and Eugene Kochan, 21, ofLansford, was charged with two counts of DUI, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia on Aug. 21.
• A checkpoint stop made by state police at Lehighton at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 15 in the area of Bridge Street, near Route 209 in Weissport, resulted in the arrest of a 41-year-old Lehighton man for driving under the influence of drugs.
Police said the suspect was taken for a blood test and the charge is pending the results of laboratory tests.
• Brian Woods, 51, of Tamaqua, was arrested by state police at the Fogelsville barracks for public drunkenness following an incident at 7:20 p.m. Oct. 18 in the area of the 7100 block of Hamilton Boulevard in Lower Macungie Township.
Police said he was observed in a parking lot while being under the influence of alcohol to the degree that he was annoying people in the vicinity.
