Published May 30. 2019 08:41AM

DNA found at the scene of a Monroe County burglary led to the arrest of a county resident.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said a residence along Wagner Way in Pocono Lake was entered on Dec. 18, about 10:10 p.m. Police responded to the scene and found the front door to be broken open and property missing. DNA evidence was collected and sent out for processing. As a result the DNA matched Christopher T. Geiger, 32, of Orono Drive, Pocono Lake.

Geiger, who is in prison in a separate case, was charged with felony counts of burglary and criminal trespass and misdemeanor counts of theft and criminal mischief. He was arraigned on the charges on May 22.
