Object thrown at vehicle strikes driver

State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating an incident where an object thrown at a vehicle struck the driver in her head.

The incident happened at 7:03 p.m. Nov. 10 along Kunkletown Road, near the intersection with Kleintop Road in Eldred Township.

The victim is a 31-year-old Saylorsburg woman.

Police said someone threw objects at her moving vehicle, causing one of them to travel through a partially opened driver's-side door window and strike her in the head.
