State police to conduct checkpoints

State police at the Frackville and Schuylkill Haven barracks announced that sobriety checkpoints will be conducted between June 12 to 26 on various roadways in Schuylkill County.

Troopers will systematically stop vehicles at selected locations. The checkpoints are conducted to reduce the number of alcohol and drug related fatal and serious crashes and to reduce the number of DUI drivers on state roadways.
