Lehighton to address trash picking

Def need to add DUMPSTER DIVING.......Jim, please amend the ordinance.

I really hate when people take my trash. It seems to happen every Friday too.

What is the complaint?
One person's trash can be another person's treasure. Why should anyone care if their trash goes into a garbage truck or into the back of someone's pickup truck? There are many ways trash can be reused, recycled or repurposed keeping it out of our already over-burdened landfills.

Exactly.....you would think that there are more import issues to work on. Our citizens struggle enough without another silly ordinance. I was being facetious before.

Unfortunately people have no lifes if all they worry about is their trash if youre throwing it out & someone else can use it or make a profit off it then all the more power to them why make a big deal out of it instead of it going to a landfill I agree let someone else have it if they want its not hurting anyone as long as the people clean up after themselves & Im sure no identities are stolen because people that are worried about that usually burn or shred there papers & there would be complaints about stolen identity it woukd have been done already & people that do that sort of thing im sure would go to the mailboxes itd be easier anyways Ive seen people plenty of people find antiques jewelery silver & gold electronics some items brand new never opened so why would you rather see that go to a landfill instead of someone who might appreciate it more unless your sick in the head & have some deep seeded mental problems that makes you a nasty selfish cold hearted sob truth be told get a life & get over it if its not hurting you worry about the real problems of the world not the petty bs thanks

I know this guy that said he made a few thousand off junking I didnt believe it till I seen it. There was a guy that also went to a yard sale that bought a rare war medal for 75 cents it was solid gold he said he got 6 thousand at a pawn shop & the pawn shop sold it for 30 thousand & if the guy at the yard sale didnt sell it for the 75 cents he wouldve thrown it out. Supposely between antiques gold & silver people throw out millions. People that are moving or someone passes away & the kids or grandkids will either not know what their throwing out or just not care if someone else wants it & knows the value or appreciates it why not let them have it theres enough waste in this world & not everyone is handed everything on a silver platter, the guy I know does it on the side & makes more than he does at his job at times & thats a shame that people would rather it go to the dump than see someone else get it especially when they dont want it & other people can use it or profit from it. I seen people complain but do it themselves Its like their jealous & some people follow other people around with cameras & its not even their trash like they have nothing better to do or no lives if they worry about everyone else but themselves & the people that complain that do it themselves are only ruining it for themselves because tables might turn & theyll be the the ones taped & if its banned end up with a fine then its a different story also what do you call people who excavate land & unbury tombs & put it on display the people that go there are hippocrates because thats worse thats disturbing someones resting place the tomb with artifacts inside & people who watch american pickers also thats unwanted junk so whoever watches it is a hippocrate too because some of the people even ssy that theyre junkers so whoever wants to ban this should also want that all bannef too & shouldnt watch any of that kind of shit its all the same
