Car winds up in ditch in West Penn

    A young man escaped injury Tuesday afternoon when involved in a crash in West Penn township. The accident occurred at 4:30 p.m. as he was traveling north on Route 309 near the intersection with Overlook Drive. He informed police he had a problem with the steering and veered to the right into a saturated draining ditch. The driver was not injured in the mishap.
