A look back: June 18, 1974

Richard A. Koch of 406 N. Fifth St., Lehighton, was elected president last night during the monthly meeting of the Lehighton Chamber of Commerce.

He succeeds David Hontz, Lehighton R.1, who has served as president of the chamber for about a year since the death of former president Frank McCartney.

John Sebelin of Weissport was elected vice president, succeeding Koch at that post, while Ted Kromer, 136 S. Seventh St., was re-elected treasurer and Mrs. Faye Koch was named secretary. She will succeed Ronald Gower.

The new president is a co-owner of Ev-Ko Furniture and Appliances, Lehighton.
