Bethany EC Church
Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship at 10:45 a.m. with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.
Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages, including fellowship time, 10:15 a.m.; preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Wednesday: Prayer meeting, 7 p.m.
Thursday: Men’s Bible study at McDonald’s, 5:15 a.m.
Friday: Wrapped in Prayer Ministry, 7 p.m. Open to anyone in the community who might like to share in the ministry by crocheting or knitting shawls for individuals in need of spiritual comforting.

Crossroads Community Church
Crossroads Community Church, 580 Coal St., holds Sunday worship service with Pastor Kevin McGraw. It is a place for a fresh start with God.
Adult Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.; contemporary worship service at 10:30 a.m. with nursery available; children’s Sunday school at 11 a.m.; fellowship following service.

Trinity highlights
Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., begins at 9:30 a.m. Included during this time is the dedication of the cranberry-colored Evangelical Lutheran Worship hymnals. The green-colored Lutheran Books of Worship will be retired and repurposed. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides.
Special guest Vicar Joshua Krenz will be present during the worship time. A current seminarian at Trinity Seminary, Columbus, Ohio, he will begin his term at the Lehighton congregation in early August. Vicar Richard Bergen’s term concludes in late July.
For those desiring to seek membership at Trinity, Pastor Moore will provide information Sunday at 11 a.m. Appointments desiring a baptismal date may be arranged by phone. Please contact the church office in advance at 610-377-4303 to register.
Do you love to sew or want to learn? Attention to youth grades 5 and up to attend a sewing group to complete a service project. Sessions will be 10 a.m. to noon July 9, 16, 23, 30 in the youth room. Register by contacting the church office before July 7.
Trinity’s community Vacation Bible School is Aug. 5-9, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., with the theme “Who’s Your Neighbor? Learning to Love Like Jesus.” Free registration for children ages 3 through sixth grade. Volunteers are needed and welcomed to help. Contact the church office to register.
