Jazz salon to benefit Step By Step

Local Lehigh Valley Jazz Band Ginger and the Schnappes is hosting a jazz salon to benefit the nonprofit agency Step By Step Inc. from 7-10 p.m. on Saturday.

The cabaret-style jazz band will take listeners back to the days of sophisticated jazz standards, along with some lighthearted takes on pop classics. The benefit event is open to the public, and light hors d’oeuvres and beverages are included.

All proceeds go to Step By Step, a nonprofit agency that provides community support services to people in Pennsylvania with developmental/intellectual disabilities, mental health disorders, and/or substance use disorders.

Step By Step strongly and passionately believes in each individual’s ability to succeed in life, through personal empowerment with dignity and respect.

They renew the lives of over 500 residents of the Lehigh Valley each year.
