Widener University graduation, 2019
Widener University conferred degrees to more than 1,100 graduates in a ceremony May 17. Commencement was held at The Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia.
Local graduates included:
Orwigsburg: Justin Gilfillan graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Widener’s School of Human Service Professions.
Walnutport: Taylor Grube graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy in nursing science from Widener’s School of Nursing.
Nesquehoning: Joseph Burns graduated with a Bachelor of Science in allied health from Widener’s Center for Extended Learning.
Saylorsburg: Tai Dottery graduated with a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Widener’s School of Nursing.
Lansford: Taylor Horvat graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the School of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Widener’s College of Arts & Sciences.
Schuylkill Haven: Joseph McLaughlin graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Widener’s School of Engineering.
Brodheadsville: Abigail Roselli graduated with a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Widener’s School of Nursing.
