Schuylkill Treasurer’s Report

Schuylkill County Treasurer Linda Marchalk has released the treasurer’s report for May 2019.

The beginning balance for the general fund was $22,969,390; the ending balance was $33,621,353. The balance of other county funds was $22,541,902. The county agencies account has $5,580,332 and the workers’ compensation account has $335,431. The total of all accounts is $61,205,762.

During May, $15,636,081 was collected in real estate taxes. Other revenue came from magistrate fees ($58,853) and hotel tax ($44,015).
