A look back: July 3, 1990
Within minutes after Parryville council met last night, five officials walked off the job, leaving the tiny borough without adequate leadership to perform business.
Council President Jeannine Siegmond tendered her resignation, along with two other council representatives, vice president Gary Fedor and Thomas Miller.
Siegmond’s husband, Warren, resigned his position as a member of the zoning hearing board, and Richard Fedor resigned as zoning officer and secretary of the planning commission.
The resigning members said their departure was due to hostilities that Jeannine Siegmond later blamed on Mayor Clair Wentz.
