State police investigate thefts
State police at Lehighton are investigating the following incidents:
Laptops stolen: State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a theft that happened between 11 p.m. Oct. 26 and 12:10 a.m. Oct. 27 atVictoria Arms Court in Polk Township. The victimreported someone stole two laptop computers from him.
Trail camera stolen: A trail camera was stolen from a residenceon Black Bear Circle, Kunkletown, between Oct. 23 and 11 a.m. Nov. 6.
ATV stolen in Eldred: A 49-year-old Kunkletown man reported that someone entered his garage through an unsecured door and stole a red 2001 Suzuki LT250 all-terrain vehicle. The burglary happened between 4:15 and 6:15 p.m. Nov. 5 at a propertyon Church Road in Eldred Township.
Theft by deception: State police are investigating a theft by deception case. The victimresides on Little John Drive in Kunkletown.
No details of the incident were provided by police, except to say the incident was reported to them at 3:04 p.m. Nov. 9.
Money not returned: State police are investigating a theft incident in which the victim reported she did not get her money back for a package she refused to accept. Police were called at 3:17 p.m.Monday toa Haney Road, Kunkletown, location, where the victimreported she refused a package from FedEx and did not get her refund.
