State police at Frackville investigate thefts

State police at Frackville reported on two theft investigations.

• Troopers said a unlocked vehicle was entered while parked in the area of Fourth Boulevard, in East Union Township, and miscellaneous amounts of U.S. currency with a estimated total value of $400 were removed. The incident occurred sometime between 9 p.m. Saturday and 12:01 a.m. Sunday.

• A 52-year-old man from Frackville reported someone stole a lawn mower from a home construction site along Ringtown Boulevard in Union Township. Troopers said the victim arrived at the site about 9:30 a.m. on Saturday to find the mower missing. The theft occurred sometime between Friday at 11 a.m. and Saturday.
