Vehicle stop leads to drug charges

A vehicle stop in Monroe County has led to drug charges being filed against the driver.

State police at Stroudsburg said Shane Carpenter, 26, of Saylorsburg, was stopped at 11:53 p.m. on June 22 along Route 209 in Hamilton Township. At the stop Carpenter was found to be in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Troopers said charges have been filed.
