A look back: July 16, 1968
Ronald Esrang, a member of the staff at the U.S. Post Office in Jim Thorpe, has been appointed to be Finance State Superintendent at the Wahneta office of the Jim Thorpe Post Office, replacing George Straub, who recently retired.
The announcement was made today by Postmaster Harold Richards.
Esrang is a son of Mrs. John Esrang of Jim Thorpe and the late Mr. Esrang.
He resided at 212 North Ave., Jim Thorpe, with his wife, the former Phyllis Melber, and their daughter, Debra.
Esrang started his new duties on Monday.
