Damage at playground being investigated

State police at Frackville are investigating vandalism at a playground site in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said they were notified by the mayor and council president of the borough of New Ringgold that damage was done to the Koch Street basketball court.

Someone drove a vehicle onto the court and the area around it, did burnouts on the macadam and grass area causing damages.

The incident occurred sometime between Sunday and Monday.
