Woman cited for text messages

Schuylkill Township police cited Diane Battaglia, 55, of 53 Locust St., Tuscarora, for repeatedly sending threatening text messages to a MaryD woman.

Charges of harassment were filed by Sgt. Anthony Stanell on Oct. 25.

Police said Battaglia sent dozens of threatening messages to her victim between Sept. 2 and Oct. 23, despite being warned to stop on Oct. 3.
