Neighbor dispute investigated

A neighbor dispute in Ross Township, Monroe County, has led to charges.

State police at Lehighton said troopers responded to Upper Smith Gap Road at 12:28 p.m. on July 16 for a report of neighbor issues.

During the investigation it was learned that Lloyd Mackes, 66, of Saylorsburg, chased a 54-year-old woman, from Saylorsburg, while she was driving her car. He had a weed wacker and yelling at her.

Troopers said Mackes was cited for harassment.
