Noncredit computer classes offered at LCCC

Lehigh Carbon Community College will offer a wide variety of noncredit computer courses this semester that provide instruction in personal computing and specialized software packages.

All classes have a ratio of one person per computer to provide hands-on experience.

A free computer preview night will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 7 at LCCC’s main campus in Schnecksville.

It will provide an overview of Microsoft software training opportunities and give people a few quick tips for some of the MS courses that LCCC offers.

There will be time for questions. Cost is free, but registration is required.

Classes in computer basics, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Intro to Microsoft Office Programming, Intro to Game Design and Application Development for Mobile Devices will be held this fall. Dates, times, locations and prices vary.
