Fatal shooting reported at rifle range
Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting at the Pennsylvania State Game Commission rifle range just north of Nesquehoning.
The incident occurred just after 11 a.m. Saturday when it was reported a man was down, suffering a gunshot wound to the chest.
A Carbon County deputy coroner is on scene.
The entrance to the scene has been closed.

Honestly, I'm surprised the range is still open. There aren't many places to shoot 300yards. Yea you should try that on the weekend. That's a long walk down to the 300yd range knowing half the people shooting had NO IDEA WHAT YOU JUST SAID and all you said was "Please give me a few minutes to get back."
